The ball chair was designed in 1963 by Eero Aarnio a Finnish furniture designer. The ball chair is also known as globe chair and it had brought fame because of its unconventional shape. The original designer of this chair Eero Aarnio created this design of the chair by himself at his home. He was preparing for this chair thinking that it will be unique and new of all the chairs.

He started at his house and prepared the design for this chair. The first design he made was just like a room inside a room.
